Yeonmi Kim is a dedicated pianist and educator with an extensive background in performance and teaching. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Piano Performance at the University of North Texas, studying under Professor Adam Wodnicki. Yeonmi holds a Performance Certificate and a Master of Music in Piano Performance from Missouri State University, as well as a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Seokyeong University in Seoul, South Korea.

Throughout her academic journey, Yeonmi has received numerous accolades, including the Don & Rosemary Witt Scholarship, an Opera Workshop Scholarship for her work as an opera accompanist at Missouri State University, a Winner Concerto Competition award at Seokyeong University, and an Honorable Mention in the Missouri Music Teacher Association (MMTA) Graduate Piano Competition.

Yeonmi has performed in a wide range of settings, including solo recitals, chamber music concerts, and collaborative performances with singers and instrumentalists. She has participated in masterclasses with esteemed pianists such as Dr. Marina Lomazov, Dr. Anton Nel, Dr. Enrico Elisi, and Dr. Jason Kwak. Her performance highlights include appearances at events such as the Texas State International Piano Festival.

In addition to her performance achievements, Yeonmi is a passionate and experienced piano teacher with over eight years of experience working with students of all ages and skill levels. She has also served as an accompanist for competitions, auditions, and concerts, collaborating with musicians across various instruments. Her professional experience includes serving as a church accompanist and being an active member of the Missouri Teachers National Association collegiate chapter.
