GROUP CLASS POLICIES

Dear Parents,

In our commitment to transparency and convenience, we want to ensure that you are well-informed about our policies at Young Artist Music School. Please take a moment to review the following policies before completing your registration.

SCHOOL POLICIES

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:

Registration enrolls a student for the entire semester.
New students are accepted throughout the year when space is available.
If you choose to discontinue classes, charges will persist until the end of the semester.
No cancellation policy; once registration is confirmed, it is considered final.

TUITION AND FEES:

Tuition payments can be made monthly or for the entire semester.
Semester Membership Payment Discount: $50 off when paying for the entire semester upfront.
Monthly Membership Payment: Automatically processed each month on the enrollment day.
Declined Payments: You have a 5-day grace period to resolve payment issues.
Late Fee: $35 will be applied if payment is not resolved within the grace period.
Extra Charges: Started Kits and books will be added to the tuition of the corresponding month.

ENROLLMENT:

An annual enrollment fee ($45) is required for new and returning students, renewed on your anniversary date.
Automatic re-enrollment unless a 30-day cancellation request is submitted before the next semester.

DISCOUNTS:

5% sibling discount and applies to private lessons for a second instrument/class.
Referral Credit: Reduce your invoice by one lesson cost for each referred family who enrolls.

ATTENDANCE AND MISSED LESSONS:

Makeup classes are available for missed sessions, scheduled within a month.
Missed classes are non-refundable.

LESSON DETAILS:

Lessons at the school: Arrive 5 minutes early with appropriate Starter Kits. Wash hands before each lesson.
Lessons at home: Be ready 1 minute after the teacher arrives. Allow a 10-15 minute cushion for potential teacher delays due to traffic.
YAMS doesn’t guarantee instructor continuity; changes may occur due to personal and professional reasons.
